Sensor concentrator
Application
- CST 800 is an analogue inputs expansion module (temperature sensors) that can communi-cate with the YLC 780 and YLC 740 controllers and is used to expand the system structure.
- The module has an RS485 port for communication using the Modbus RTU485 protocol.
- It allows up to 8 sensors (T5 or PT 1000) to be acquired.
- The maximum number of CST 800 which can be connected to each YLC 7xx is 2 for a total of 16 sensors.
- The purpose of the concentrator is to offer an alternative solution to the installation of the 1W sensors, where the characteristics of the system make the use difficult (presence of inverters, control units and sub-control units etc.).
- The use of CST 800 enables the wiring of the existing sensors to be recovered.
